And then it was Sunday. And on this day the person in our house who almost never gets sick and who withstands rain, sunshine, cold and heat wakes up with a cold … a head cold … a bad one … now you must now it’s bad when the person sleeps in … just wakes up to eat cereal quickly to drink tablets and goes back to bed … instead of getting up at 5am and starting to clean some stuff …

So if you know me you will know that I am referring to Pops. The one and only. A difficult patient he is. He doesn’t want to rest. He says it feels worse to sleep than to be up.

I look at him. Shake my head. And tell him to get back into bed. He finds things to do to not get him into his room …

I shake my head and smile … he will eventually.

I wonder where he picked it up … I know where …

Wash your hands. Wear your mask. Social distance.

Rest. Chill. Take it easy.

The patient is sleeping …
